Join us in the fight for gender equality through the Equal Rights Amendment!
Click here to register for our next public webinar on Tues 1/28 @9pm ETThe Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) is a proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would guarantee equal rights for all people, regardless of sex. Without it, there is no explicit guarantee of gender quality in our country’s foundational document
The ERA has already met all the requirements of ratification set forth in Article V – it has been ratified by the required 38 states AND has already passed in both the House and Senate. The only thing holding it up is an outdated deadline that Congress can vote to remove.
Now, more than ever, women and gender minorities need these protections. If published, the ERA would make equal rights for all genders a core constitutional value in our nation.
Gender equality is long-overdue in America. Join us in the fight for equality!
Equality Era Now is a grassroots movement focused on securing gender equality through the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA). Founded in the wake of post-election frustration, we mobilize advocates nationwide to push for removing the outdated ERA ratification deadline.
Beyond the ERA, we’re building a foundation for future advocacy, amplifying critical causes and collaborating with organizations to ensure lasting equality under the law.
85% of the world’s constitutions include protections against gender discrimination—but the U.S. Constitution does not.
